Experienced Nurses

As an experienced nurse, it is important to continue to build upon your career. With a Clinical Ladder Program, Professional Practice Councils, Nurse Manager Residency, various schedules, and education benefits, LG Health gives experienced nurses the support to take their careers in the direction of their choosing, all within the same organization.

Graduate Nurses

We understand the importance of ensuring that graduate nurses start their careers with the right training and resources. Upon hire, all eligible new-to-practice nurses are automatically enrolled into the Nurse Residency Program. This 12-month program is designed to support recent nursing graduates as they transition into their first professional nursing role. It consists of a series of work and learning experiences that emphasize and develop the clinical and leadership skills necessary for the advanced beginner nurse to become a successful part of our professional health-care team.

Student Nurses

At LG Health, nursing students do not need to wait to get started on their nursing careers. We offer opportunities including shadowing experiences on a unit, externships, and paid positions. Each option has flexible schedules to allow you to focus on your education.

Nursing Support

Patient care is a team effort. With more than 500 support staff dedicated to support nursing, there are several opportunities to start or build upon a career in patient care. These support positions also offer flexible schedules to balance your personal life or give you an opportunity to achieve your educational goals.
